What customers say?

“ Wow! I have to start off by saying the customer service here was by far superior to even a lot of five star restaurants. I throughly enjoyed just talking to the employees because of how nice and kind they were! Now to the food. My food was soooooo good! I got the beef and vegetable soup which was a special for the day and I also got a parfait with macaroni and cheese, brisket and coleslaw. When I say this food was so good! It was so good! So much so that I went back the same day and got the same thing for dinner! Definitely will be visiting this establishment anytime I’m in the area! ”

“ Today, Lost Mountain bbq was my chance to try the "Romney Mountain Masterpiece" and wow! It was easily big enough for 2 dinners, potentially 3. It was amazing! all 3 meats, cole slaw, nacho cheese and more on top of a gigantic baked potato. The S.O. got the "Lost Mountain" baker, she loved it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ March 2024 - finally tried the half rack ribs, not great and not bad. Def needed more sauce than the extra sauce I ordered. It was not much. S.O. ordered the Moorefield baker, she rates it a solid 5/5 ~~~~~~~~~ July 2024 - Mountaineer Nachos. Estimated weight, 4 pounds. This monstrosity is a crime against waistlines. It is very very good. ”

“ Came in from out of town and decided to door dash the food to our rental. Found out there were no dashers and our food had been sitting for 30 minutes. After clearing everything up with Lost Mountain BBQ, we went to pick it up and they broke down the sandwiches so that they didn’t get soggy. On top of that, the lady was very friendly and hospitable. She even gave us a slice of cheesecake for the inconvenience (that wasn’t their fault at all). Food was amazing and I’m extremely grateful for meeting them. Will definitely go again. ”

“ We have never stopped here because, to be honest, the place looks a little sketchy from the road, and the parking lot is wonky. But, with the promise of pork belly burnt ends, my taste buds overrode the concerns of stopping. Kim was friendly and helpful. The wait and price were a little more than what I expected for what we ordered. There was outside seating under a covered area. I've had pork belly that was crisp on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. This was not the case for these, but the spicy barbque sauce saved them and they were ok. I'm glad we stopped to try it. Let that smokey aroma draw you in and try it for yourself. ”

“ It was chilly out but food, staff, and seating were amazing. didn’t get any pics because we ate it all so fast! we ordered 3 times within 20 minutes hahaha, the meat and portions are absolutely amazing. their peppermint pie is also perfect. they had amazing fun flavored sodas as well, we had to get some to bring home. definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back asap ”

“ Wonderful counter service/server...order at the counter and good delivered to your table. Outside seating and clean. I had ribs... generous serving size, very tender... Fell right off the bone. We had Mac and cheese and baked beans as sides. Food was tasty but in my opinion, and hubby's opinion... Just needed a little more seasoning to make it delicious. I would eat here again. Ample gravel parking. ”

“ Awesome little pit stop! Food was great and staff very friendly. Building decorations for Halloween made it fun and festive. Centre street pulled brisket potato was on point. Recommended stop ”
